Husky Happenings

Weekly Update from Principal Potis

Husky Families,

I hope you’re enjoying these last days of summer! We’re getting everything ready to welcome our Huskies back to school on Wednesday, September 3, and I can already feel the excitement building. I’d also love to see you at Back to School Night on Tuesday, September 2—it’s always such a great way to reconnect, meet teachers, and start the year together as a community. I’m so grateful to be here at Crownhill with you, and I look forward to partnering with you this year to support our students in learning, growing, and thriving.

You can expect to receive a Husky Happenings message from me every Friday afternoon. Each one will include highlights from the week and a peek at the week ahead. Please be sure to check “The Week Ahead” section below—this week it includes important dates when our office will be closed for professional development. Even if the office is closed, you’re always welcome to leave a voicemail or send an email, and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

On Tuesday afternoon, you may also see Crownhill staff out and about in the neighborhood. We’ll be stopping by to reconnect with families and share a friendly reminder about Back to School Night. If you see us, be sure to wave—we’re excited to say hello!

See you soon,

Carre Potis

Crownhill Principal
