Husky Happenings

Weekly Update from Principal Potis

Husky Families,

As the rainy season rolls in, a friendly reminder that we go to recess rain or shine! Please send your child with a coat, rain jacket, or hood each day—once they get wet, they’ll likely be wet for awile. And let’s be honest, our kids love the puddles, so lots of wet feet are guaranteed! This ties in perfectly with our October character trait of the month: Responsibility. Huskies are learning that being responsible means thinking ahead and being prepared, and bringing the right clothes for the weather is a fun way for kids to practice this skill. Thanks for helping us keep our Crownhill kids happy, safe, and learning responsibility every day!

As always, please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.

Take care,

Carre Potis

Crownhill Principal

October Trait of the Month: Responsibility

In October, our focus is on Responsibility! Responsibility means taking action and understanding the impact of our choices. Students are learning that being responsible can take many forms—turning in work on time, caring for a pet, being kind to a new classmate, or standing up for what’s right. Throughout October, we’ll highlight and celebrate responsible choices as we help students build habits that lead to positive outcomes both in and out of school.
