Weekly Update from Principal Potis
Husky Families,
As we head into Thanksgiving Break, we want to express how grateful we are for our Crownhill community. Thank you for trusting us with your students and for partnering with us in their learning and growth. We hope this break brings you meaningful time with loved ones, moments of rest, and a chance to celebrate the things that matter most. From our Husky family to yours - Happy Thanksgiving, and we look forward to welcoming students back refreshed and ready to learn on Monday! 🧡
If you are thinking about getting rid of gently-used toys that your children have outgrown, please consider donating them to our preschool! We have many children who would love to give them a second chance, as long as they are still fully functional and not broken. If you have any questions, please contact Brittani Webb at brittani.webb@bremertonschools.org.
As always, please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.
Take care,
Carre Potis
Crownhill Principal

December Trait of the Month: Empathy
This month’s focus is Empathy. One way to think about Empathy is “understanding and connecting with other people’s feelings.” Empathy is a practice that can help us grow strong relationships. Empathy is 1 of 3 traits we will focus on throughout the year that helps students Be Kind. Throughout the school, students will be developing skills like perspective-taking, conflict resolution, and leadership.
