Weekly Update from Principal Potis

Husky Families,

We are so proud of our 3rd graders for the effort they showed during this week’s Math SBA testing! They worked hard, stayed focused and demonstrated perseverance throughout the week. Families should be proud of the preparation and positive attitude students brought each day.

Next week, our 4th and 5th grade students will take the ELA SBA. We are confident they will approach the ELA SBA with the same focus, perseverance and positive attitude. Thank you for your support in helping students get a good night’s sleep, arrive on time, and feel confident heading into testing.

As always, please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.

Take care,

Carre Potis
Crownhill Principal

May Trait of the Month: Creativity

Get ready for some fun as we focus on Creativity this month! One way to think about Creativity is “using your imagination to create something new or solve a problem.” Opportunities to be Creative are all around us! Creativity is 1 of 3 traits we will focus on throughout the year that helps students Be Well. Throughout the school, students will be developing skills like emotion regulation, positive self-talk, and stress-management.
