Weekly Update from Principal Potis
Husky Families,
Field Day was a huge success today! Our students had a wonderful time participating in games, activities, and friendly competition while celebrating the end of another great school year. A special thank you goes to our amazing PE teacher, Celina Espinoza, for her leadership, planning, and hard work in organizing this event. We are also incredibly grateful to the many volunteers who gave their time and energy to make today possible.
As we head into our final week of school, there is a bittersweet feeling around Crownhill. We are excited to celebrate all of the learning, growth and memories our Huskies have made this year, but we are also getting ready to say "see you later" to several staff members who have been an important part of our school family. Miss Espinoza, Mrs. Lytle, Mrs. Bennett, Mrs. Hjelmaa, Ms. G, Mr. Nico, Mr. Silas, Miss Adams, Mrs. Nejak, and Mrs. Hornburg have each made a difference in the lives of our students and helped make Crownhill the special place it is. They will be greatly missed by students, families, and staff alike. We are so thankful for everything they have given to our community and wish them all the best as they begin their next chapter.
As always, please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.
Take care,
Carre Potis Crownhill Principal
