Husky Happenings

Weekly Update from Principal Potis

Husky Families,

This week, I’ve been in El Paso learning alongside educators about the New Art and Science of Teaching and instructional coaching. It’s been a week full of great learning, new ideas and inspiration that I’m excited to bring back to Crownhill! As much as I’ve enjoyed the experience, I’ve really missed our Crownhill community and, especially, our kiddos. I can’t wait to be back on Tuesday and hear about all the learning, growing and fun I’ve missed. Have a wonderful weekend, Huskies!

As always, please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.

Take care,

Carre Potis
Crownhill Principal

Have you returned your orange CNEEB form?

All Bremerton School District schools participate in the federal Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), which allows all students to receive free breakfast and lunch every school day—no application required!

However, to maintain critical state funding for essential education programs, we ask all families to complete the Child Nutrition Eligibility & Education Benefit (CNEEB) application each year.

While traditional free and reduced-price meal applications are no longer collected annually, the CNEEB form provides required household data that keeps state funding in our schools. Families seeking Summer EBT (S-EBT) benefits must have a current CNEEB form on file.

How to complete the CNEEB form:

  • We distributed ORANGE CNEEB forms TIMING HERE. If you haven’t already, please complete and return this form to school ASAP.

  • Download: Download the electronic form and return it to school.

We appreciate your support in completing this form. If you have questions, please contact:
